UTMB is testing its command center setup today. Satellite, wireless, emergency phones, a bank of PCs and much more are set up and working.
The campus monitors are also running an emergency message.
The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston is conducting an emergency response drill starting at approximately noon on Friday, April 13, 2007. The exercise will last approximately two hours, and as part of it, communication tools used by the university will be activated and tested. This message is only a test.
