Since Chris Comer and her team are doing an exceptional job of keeping everyone informed through this blog, I have discontinued the IS updates so people focus on the insitutional ones. The IS team on-site is doing great work with limited people resources and things are progressing well. If you need additional information, please e-mail me or talk to your supervisor after our conference calls. Thanks…Todd Leach (tleach@utmb.edu)
Todd, glad to hear you’all (IS) are working on communication and are ok. I have been in contact with AR folks and all who left are very anxious to return regardless of what awaits. More hands mean less work so encourage city officials at every opportunity to let UTMB folks return.
Thanks for the update. I am trying to get back 4097713677. No idea if my house is okay on harborview dr.

Great to finally get some info. Does anyone know if the apartment complex (Port Aux Prince) got flooded? Thanks.
Do we have any idea what damage was sustained in the PCP and UHC?

Hello,
Concerning “ems.messageone.com” Is that for onsite emergency people only or is it for any UTMB employee’s email access?

Hello,
I know this is probably the least of the concerns right now, but…I represent the student body of the som c/o 2012 when I request that we have some information as to what will happen with classes, considering we had a midterm scheduled this week. Also, we are wondering what is going to happen to the cadavers, since they will not be treated with solution for a while. Any information you can provide will be forwarded to the 200+ students in my class anxiously waiting any information. Thanks for your hard work and stay safe!
Daniel
Dr. Watson,
I have information about the conditions on Harbor View Drive. I will email you.
-Julia Essex
Hi Dr. Essex, I am Eric Nolen’s wife. I would really appreciate it if you could please email me conditions on Harbor View Drive also. Thanks so much.
It would be great if you had any info on conditions in Galveston, you would post it here. My daughter had to leave her very beloved cat, thinking she would be back the next day. She lives in the Captain Landing apartments close to Walmart. Since she is not going to be allowed back on the island, hse is desperate for someone to rescue him, but doesn’t know who to contact.
If you can please help, let us know.
I am a dear friend of Mike & Maggie Fuller. I got a very short call from them yesterday but cannot get them since. They rode out the storm at home and were ok then. If anyone has had contact since or can have them get in touch via phone or e-mail PLEASE let me know. Thanks Renee
I have heard (many, many rumors) that it may be weeks before I can get on the Island. I live on the West End and from what I hear, no one is allowed down the island. Via the rumour mill, it may be 4-6 weeks before the West End has ligts and water. If anyone knows anything different please let me know. Also, does any know the status of payroll and what will happen if we can can get back to work for several weeks.
Not only myself but a lot of the UTMB employees want to know how payroll is going to be handled. Some get direct deposit and some don’t. What is going to happen with the checks that are mailed out and the employees can’t get to their mailboxes?? Is there a way that an employee can change information to have their checks mailed to an address that is deliverable??
